AmHarta Brand Identity
GOALS
To create a full-service brand identity rooted in Filipino pride for upcoming Twitch streamer, AmHarta. AmHarta, an alter alias of last name, means “to follow the map.” We wanted to make a brand identity that not only references cartography but also the client’s Filipino culture.
Design Strategy
This logo features half of a compass rose in front of two symmetrical mountains. The number two symbolizes teamwork and positivity, both traits that AmHarta embraces in his streams. AmHarta is displayed in a retro serif font, with the connecting letters symbolizing connection and community. Lastly, the icon is similar to the Philippine sun flag.
Pattern backgrounds are dotted lines, in reference to cartography. Additionally, Twitch emotes are animated longanisa soldiers, a Filipino chorizo delicacy.
“Before hiring Christine, I was struggling with getting inspiration and guidance on building up my unique aesthetic. I didn’t want to be just another streamer, and I wanted something that would make me stand apart. I’ve only had the whole branding for less than a week, but I’ve already had several people compliment the aesthetic and ask where I got the graphics!”
